This program has specific recovery support for 350 file types, including these Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; these mail programs: Outlook Express, Hotmail, Yahoo, Netscape, IncrediMail, and these other programs: databases, AutoCAD, Microsoft Money, QuickBooks, SQL, MYOB, photos, MPEG, AVI, and MP3 files. Smart Projects publishes this excellent and low priced data recovery utility. It will recover data from CD, DVD, BD and HD DVD. It supports all file systems. It supports a vast range of image files also. It will scan for lost files and folders on CD, DVD, BD and HD DVD surfaces. This program will find lost data on discs designed in drag and drop applications like Direct CD, InCD, DLA, Instant-Write, and VISTA.

You can also find lost pictures that were created and saved to a CD with Mavica or other equipment. Version 2 includes the blue laser optical disc types: BD (blu-ray Disc) and HD DVD (High Density DVD). It works on all types of files and folders and can recover lost or damage ones easily.

Pros:
This program is easy to use.

Cons:
None encountered.

The nice thing about them all is they offer trial versions. They do have restrictions on them, but you should be able to know if you want to purchase them or not, after trying them out.
